Ararat Community Enterprise is a local organization of Ararat residents dedicated to supporting and bettering their community for the long term. They provide community grants to local individuals and organizations at no cost to recipients, distributing funds to support various community needs. Their work focuses on strengthening the Ararat region by directing resources and funding to where they are most needed in the community.

Bannockburn Community Enterprise operates as a community banking branch, returning profits to support local community projects, initiatives, and economic development in the Golden Plains region of Victoria. The enterprise provides accessible financial services while reinvesting revenue to strengthen the local community.

The Centre for Multicultural Youth is a social enterprise that supports young people from diverse backgrounds, providing them with opportunities, support, and mentoring to thrive in their communities. They work with organisations and businesses to build capability and deliver services that promote social inclusion and youth development. Their work has a positive impact on the lives of young people, particularly those from multicultural backgrounds.

Carpentry Team - building decks, playgrounds, pergolas, screens and fences. ReBoxCo - premium recycled timber planter boxes, raised garden beds, seating pods & parklets. CERES Fair Wood is a social enterprise selling sustainably sourced timber and wood products, with proceeds supporting CERES Community Environment Park in Melbourne's inner north. The enterprise provides employment opportunities and environmental education while promoting sustainable forestry practices and reducing waste through salvaging and repurposing timber.

All our profits go back into helping CERES remain a leader in environmental education.

The Merri Cafe is located at CERES Community Environment Park. All profits from the cafe go back to funding programs connecting people with each other and the Earth.

ConnectGV Contracting provides a ready made workforce ready and able to meet the any business shortfall that can either work on site or alternate sites . The Employees will undertake jobs that can be labour intensive and take staff away from their usual role in a business. The Christie Centre is a niche organisation and provides a platform for disability support services in the region through its strong networks, contacts and partnerships. Our team is flexible, dynamic and enthusiastic with a skill for looking outside the box for opportunities and provisions of services. Furthermore as an innovative local leader for disability services aimed at achieving equity and inclusion, services are enhanced through a strong volunteer base and the provision of support to self-help and support groups. Supporting community partnerships is one of the key foundation blocks of the Christie Centre. We are a product of community development and pioneers in finding a local solution to a presenting community issue. Our supported employees andparticipants both work and engage with many community partners, whether it is through other businesses or the general public on a daily basis. Our end-game is by showing, and hopefully paving the way by creating strong partnerships with mainstream businesses that use our services, we value-add through stronger links to provide further pathways for a person living with a disability. Aroundagain, AroundagainDocument Destruction, Mildura Chocolate Company and Christie’s Emporium have created an inclusive work environment with a supported workforce. Many people have learnt new skills and have gone onto mainstream “open” employment after their time at our social enterprises. We encourage and assist people to live as independently as possible by developing self-confidence and enhancing their personal life journey whilst being part of any one of our teams.
