At Lively, our mission is to reduce youth unemployment, alleviate social isolation amongst older community members, and build a more age-friendly society. To do this, we train and employ young jobseekers to offer support and connection for isolated older people. Through this process, we build meaningful relationships that also enable older people to share their rich knowledge and experience back with the young.

We provide personal safety education and self-defence training. Our social purpose is to make the physical and mental health benefits of our training accessible to everyone, regardless of income or psychological challenges. Meaningful Ageing Australia is a registered charity and the national peak body for championing the spiritual care and emotional well-being of older people receiving care in residential and community aged care settings.
