Among The Trees is a social enterprise that works with reclaimed timber to provide useable wood, machining and manufacturing, and woodworking courses for the public, all with the primary goal of diverting timber from landfill.

Design for Hope specialises in trauma-informed interior design, applying psychological science to create healing and therapeutic spaces for vulnerable people.

Greenacres' purpose is to be an innovative pioneer in disability services, constantly adapting and evolving with the needs of the people who used our services, enabling people to live the life they imagine. Our social enterprises employ just over 200 people with disability in the following areas: warehouse operations - manufacture of a homewares range, packaging, assembly and labeling, as well as industrial sewing, metal shearing and production of sandbags, mainstream enterprises in a retail store in Shellharbour, 4 Cafes in the Wollongong area and at Shellharbour Airport, a catering kitchen based at Shellharbour Airport, Parks & Garden Maintenance, Labour Hire Crews, and a Cleaning Crew. We also have ecommerce for IMAGINE Homewares and Hampers our homewares brand made in Wollongong, which we retail online and also wholesale to stockists throughout Australia and for corporate gifting.

Metio supports community organisations to plan, fund and manage construction projects.

Superyard is a social enterprise committed to fostering sustainability and empowering communities through the circular economy. Our goal is to create a thriving ecosystem where businesses grow responsibly, and communities benefit from sustainable construction practices.

Our services fall in 3 categories: 1. Training on DEI: topics include unconscious bias, inclusive language, inclusive leadership, Aboriginal cultural engagement, race and gender related, LGBT allyship, mental health etc. 2. Consulting: policy creation, gender pay gap reporting for WGEA, design and implementation of programs on gender, race, culture, LGBT, disability. Research on social issues including doing focus groups, interviews, Data and statistical analysis of HR data, employment trends, employee satisfaction etc. 3. Virtual Reality experience creation: we will understand your needs and create a VR film tailored starting from idea onto script, filming, editing, software testing, and give you a ready to play Vr headset.

Women's Shed Canberra runs weekly workshops and drop-in sessions, and in 2023 launched the Mobile Women's Shed to reach women facing transport or social barriers. Sunita Kotnala, Founder and CEO was recognised for her leadership and named Canberra's Citizen of the Year 2025 for empowering hundreds of women through inclusive skills learning.
