We activate entrepreneurship in remote First Nation communities by supporting community-led enterprises that foster health and well-being. Our approach is place-based and community-led. We focus on building the capacity of communities to activate local economies through enterprise. Our aim is to address a gap in early-stage support that builds foundational skills in entrepreneurship and small business. We do this by facilitating enterprise-based projects that build capacity, strong partnerships and enabling ecosystems. Our model is trauma informed, relationship based and responsive to the unique context of each community that we are invited to support.Our Vision; First Nations women in the Kimberley using entrepreneurship as a pathway to healing, leadership, economic empowerment and self determination. Our mission is to build partnerships which enable First Nations women to access the right support to use entrepreneurship as a vehicle for social change for their families and communities

For Blue exists to enrich ocean health and human wealth, together, forever. Focused on the Eastern Indian Ocean, For Blue facilitates the growth of both individual ocean innovations and sustainable blue economies. For Blue is committed to creating a business model worth emulating and operates as a profit-for-purpose social enterprise, donating 50% of profits and 1% of revenue to ocean health charities. Social purpose ventures incubated by, and spun out of, For Blue include: Blue Assembly, Engineering Ocean Solutions conference, Blue Growth Conference and the State of the Blue Economy Forum and Report.

GreenChair’s service is simple and free for nonprofits, with exceptional environmental outcomes for our planet.

Little Go Getters

Little Go Getters offers enterprising behaviour-focused resources to young people throughout Australia. That includes books, activity books, and school and extra-curricular programming to help youth see themselves as enterprising and get into action to develop enterprise self-efficacy. These resources are being developed into a toolkit that collaborators can localise and contextualise for their communities. This localisation is to help youth in those communities see themselves as being enterprising and relate to the content. This collaboration is in the model of developing income-producing projects for the collaborator to help diversify their organisation s revenue streams, or as their own small business.

Mission Digital (House Labs)

Mission Digital, a social enterprise proudly powered by the House Technology Group, is a social enterprise dedicated to empowering for cause entities—from established charities to emerging social enterprises. We dismantle a common barrier: operational costs. By offering pro-bono website support and connecting them with a dedicated pool of usability testing volunteers, we equip these organisations to leverage technology effectively, fostering digital self-sufficiency. Our mission is to enable as many cause-based organisations as possible to make intelligent technological decisions, ensuring their vital work thrives. Because the Mission Digital program is entirely operated by small businesses, we aren t help to the same limitations as programs that are funded or subsidised by government or publicly listed companies. That means that we can take a chance on supporting organisations out to make a difference, regardless of their legal or financial structure.

Nick’s Jerky

We are a social enterprise supporting mental health and making Australia’s best beef jerky. We named this business after Adam’s mate Nick, who tragically lost his life to suicide a few years ago. We wanted to do something to make a difference. We are not going to cure cancer or solve climate change. We made the decision to become a social enterprise to do our part with a mandate to give 50% of our profits to organisations helping with mental health. We support Beyond Blue, A Stitch in Time, Mens Talk & Top Blokes though donating 50% of our profits. Our beef jerky is hand-made in small batches by our team of expert butchers and jerky masters.

NLE is a leading Aboriginal grower group, developing commercially viable, land-based businesses. The Noongar Land Enterprises (NLE) Group is an incorporated not-for-profit grower group, the first Aboriginal grower group, in Australia and is located in Western Australia’s south-west region (traditionally known as Noongar Boodja). NLE’s vision is to be the leading Aboriginal organisation that develops commercially viable Noongar land based businesses. Creating and successfully managing business enterprises such as bush food, sandalwood production, cultural tourism and honey. Integrated with mainstream agricultural production, the NLE will provide employment opportunities for Aboriginal people and funds to re-invest in the Noongar estate in South West WA.

We focus on creating behaviour change so that people can learn to live more sustainably, which benefits them, their community and the environment. Perth City Farm offers venue hire for corporate events, weddings, parties and workshops, as well as tours, permaculture workshops, team building and volunteering opportunities.

Reach Her Inc

Reach Her Inc exist to support and empower women from diverse backgrounds to improve their confidence, mental and physical wellbeing and help create a sense of belonging by helping them gain an entry into employment from education and training. We provide a range of our holistic employment pathway programs to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of our women, upskill them through our pre-employment workshops & business school so that they can become financially independent.

Sol Studio

We are creating sustainable SOLutions for those in need of Education, Employment and or Small Enterprise skills. Sole Studio is a Creative Up-skill Community Connecting People to Potential. We offer Sol Sessions which are a social activities, Skill Ability Programs & Concept Creation Workshops (Small Business Building Academy) that use a mix of social, collective and experiential learning to create up-skill learning outcomes and skill building empowerment solutions for said individuals, organisations or communities.
