Funding is provided for projects enriching health, welfare, education, and arts and cultural activities within the Jewish community.

This program supports projects in theatre, dance, music, and visual arts that aim to strengthen and enrich the community, promote education, innovation, and audience development, and extend cultural opportunities. It also provides funding for catalogs, commissions, exhibitions, publications, and symposia.

The Environment Grants Program funds projects dedicated to conserving land and threatened species, protecting the integrity of water resources management, and advocating for climate action. It also co-funds initiatives that enable and empower communities and First Peoples to safeguard land, habitats, and ecosystems.

Coles provides sports equipment grants to Little Athletics centers across Australia to help young people live healthy, active lives. In FY25, Coles provided $150,000 in these grants.

Flagship Grants are leadership-type grants providing significant, extended funding for ambitious projects that deliver transformative impact in priority areas, with partners proactively identified by the foundation.

An initiative launched in 2011 to promote sustainable business opportunities for Aboriginal people by encouraging joint venture partnerships and awarding contracts and sub-contracts to Aboriginal businesses and joint venture partners. It also includes a funding scheme in partnership with ANZ to help eligible Aboriginal businesses access finance.

Major Grants offer substantial, meaningful, and potentially multi-year support to not-for-profit partners to achieve long-term positive impact within the foundation's areas of interest, allocated proactively based on evidence.

The Ballarat Women's Fund Grants support initiatives that create long-term benefits for women and the wider community in Ballarat. It focuses on primary prevention and early intervention initiatives addressing family violence, promoting gender equality, and improving women's participation, opportunity, and inclusion by addressing systemic barriers.

Up to $4,500 for essential items (fridges, freezers, washing machines, dryers, beds, mattresses, dining furniture, basic kitchen items, air conditioning) plus up to $1,500 for AC installation. Available every 4 years to low-income households with proof of tenancy. Prioritized for old age/sickness/disability, then low income.

Up to $5,500 for casket, transport, flowers, funeral director fees and site preparation, plus up to $500 for feasting food. Available for Traditional Owner Group members and their partners.

Annual support for secondary students covering tuition, books, uniforms and school-related activities. Requires school attendance records and applicants must be prepared for work experience with Rio Tinto Alcan during holidays.

The Gandel Foundation provides grants to support education, arts, and community development initiatives, with a focus on young adults aged 16-24.

These awards recognise and reward Kindergarten to Year 12 educators in Australia who implement innovative classroom approaches to help students strengthen their financial literacy skills. Each winning school receives a prize of $2,500.
