Key requirements include footage (concept reel, character compile, or rough cut), a 1-2 page proposal, other funding sources or a strategy for attracting funding, and a clear audience/impact plan. Applications are accepted on a year-round basis.

Dozens of scholarships (e.g., Year 11 Sustainability Scholarship, Year 11 Creative Arts Scholarship, Year 11 Hospitality Scholarship (VET), Year 11 Building & Construction Scholarship (VET) - $500 each; Dux Awards (2x $500), Strathalmond Trophy (2x $250)) for Year 11 and 12 students to alleviate school expenses, sponsored by ALCOA of Australia, Kwinana Alumina Refinery since 2018.

Awards for public works engineers to attend international conferences (e.g., APWA Annual Congress in USA/Canada) and undertake 3-4 week research study tours

Bi-annual award for outstanding engineering contribution to local government
