The award provides significant funding, including full tuition/visiting researcher expenses, travel, and living costs, with a stipend component of approximately AUD 5,050 per award.

Key requirements include footage (concept reel, character compile, or rough cut), a 1-2 page proposal, other funding sources or a strategy for attracting funding, and a clear audience/impact plan.
