The foundation aims to enhance the quality of life, resilience, and development of the Jewish community in Victoria and Israel through grants that support immediate and long-term needs, build capacity, and foster long-term change. Funding is provided for projects enriching health, welfare, education, and arts and cultural activities within the Jewish community.

This program supports projects in theatre, dance, music, and visual arts that aim to strengthen and enrich the community, promote education, innovation, and audience development, and extend cultural opportunities. It also provides funding for catalogs, commissions, exhibitions, publications, and symposia.

Support for festivals showcasing Traditional Owner culture and performances that benefit the whole community. Must acknowledge CSRT publicly.

Up to $5,500 for casket, transport, flowers, funeral director fees and site preparation, plus up to $500 for feasting food for Traditional Owners and their partners

Youth programs, training camps and educational activities that benefit Northern Traditional Owner communities

This grant enhances physical, educational, and mental well-being by providing opportunities for community members, from youth to the elderly, to engage in positive and developmental activities. Specifically for community sporting clubs, it funds equipment, uniforms, and training camps (including travel and accommodation).

Travel, accommodation, meals for guest speakers at local churches

Annual education support for Prep to Year 6 students from the five Traditional Owner Groups, covering book packs, uniforms, school fees and equipment. Requires report cards and school attendance confirmation.

Up to $1,000 per year plus up to $700 for IT assistance for courses over 12 months. Covers one return trip home annually, books and fees. Requires academic transcripts and does not replace Abstudy.

Major Grants offer substantial, meaningful, and potentially multi-year support to not-for-profit partners to achieve long-term positive impact within the foundation's areas of interest, allocated proactively based on evidence.

The Small Grants Program provides annual project-based funding to Australian organizations with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) endorsement. It supports innovative, capacity-building initiatives across education, environment, health, social welfare, and the arts, with a priority for projects benefiting communities in New South Wales.

Funds initiatives supporting economic equity, safety, and justice for women and girls.

Offers grants and awards to support the development of talented Australian artists

Up to $4,500 for essential items (fridges, freezers, washing machines, dryers, beds, mattresses, dining furniture, basic kitchen items, air conditioning) plus up to $1,500 for AC installation. Available every 4 years to low-income households with proof of tenancy. Prioritized for old age/sickness/disability, then low income.

Up to $5,500 for casket, transport, flowers, funeral director fees and site preparation, plus up to $500 for feasting food. Available for Traditional Owner Group members and their partners.

Annual support for secondary students covering tuition, books, uniforms and school-related activities. Requires school attendance records and applicants must be prepared for work experience with Rio Tinto Alcan during holidays.

Grants for groups supporting Western Australian children in need or causes aligned with Foundation's Funding Guidelines

The Gandel Foundation provides grants to support education, arts, and community development initiatives, with a focus on young adults aged 16-24.

Uniforms, shoes, socks, book packs, school fees for primary school children per year

Feasibility studies and establishment of outstations for Traditional Owner Clan Groups

Support for computers and technological resources for indigenous communities.

Provision of necessary household items for those in need.

Funding for sporting activities and participation.

Studio space for artists at the Convent precinct

The Environment Grants Program funds projects dedicated to conserving land and threatened species, protecting the integrity of water resources management, and advocating for climate action. It also co-funds initiatives that enable and empower communities and First Peoples to safeguard land, habitats, and ecosystems.
