The Ballarat Women's Fund Grants support initiatives that create long-term benefits for women and the wider community in Ballarat. Rio Tinto has committed A$250 million to this Western Australian Government initiative, supporting iconic infrastructure projects in areas such as education, training, health, Aboriginal wellbeing, and energy decarbonisation.

This program provides grants of up to A$5,000 to local grassroots organisations in Western Australia where Rio Tinto Iron Ore and Dampier Salt Limited operate, including regional FIFO communities, focusing on thriving communities, environmental stewardship, creating opportunities, walking together, and caring for Country.

Grant supporting Jewish education initiatives

Short-term practical financial support for students needing help with instruments, camp equipment, uniforms, tutoring, psychologist sessions

Up to $4,500 for essential items (fridges, freezers, washing machines, dryers, beds, mattresses, dining furniture, basic kitchen items, air conditioning) plus up to $1,500 for AC installation. Available every 4 years to low-income households with proof of tenancy. Prioritized for old age/sickness/disability, then low income.

Up to $5,500 for casket, transport, flowers, funeral director fees and site preparation, plus up to $500 for feasting food. Available for Traditional Owner Group members and their partners.

Annual support for secondary students covering tuition, books, uniforms and school-related activities. Requires school attendance records and applicants must be prepared for work experience with Rio Tinto Alcan during holidays.

The foundation aims to enhance the quality of life, resilience, and development of the Jewish community in Victoria and Israel through grants that support immediate and long-term needs, build capacity, and foster long-term change. Funding is provided for projects enriching health, welfare, education, and arts and cultural activities within the Jewish community.

This program supports projects in theatre, dance, music, and visual arts that aim to strengthen and enrich the community, promote education, innovation, and audience development, and extend cultural opportunities. It also provides funding for catalogs, commissions, exhibitions, publications, and symposia.

The Academy provides leadership and management training, coaching, and professional development opportunities for nurses at St Vincent's Hospitals, empowering them to translate new knowledge into best-practice clinical skills.

The Gandel Foundation provides grants to support education, arts, and community development initiatives, with a focus on young adults aged 16-24.

These awards recognise and reward Kindergarten to Year 12 educators in Australia who implement innovative classroom approaches to help students strengthen their financial literacy skills. Each winning school receives a prize of $2,500.

Support for festivals showcasing Traditional Owner culture and performances that benefit the whole community. Must acknowledge CSRT publicly.

Feasibility studies and establishment of outstations for Traditional Owner Clan Groups

Low cost loans up to $6,500 for general purposes with term up to 2 years (3% p.a. for GLI members, 3.5% for non-members)

Low cost loans between $6,500 and $10,000 for home improvements with term up to 4 years (4% p.a. for GLI members, 4.5% for non-members)

An annual award of $2,000 for one UWA Fogarty Scholar, recognizing exceptional innovation, achievements, or community contributions.

Provides grants of up to $2,000 for UWA Fogarty Scholars to support projects or ventures aligned with the Fogarty Foundation's mission.

Offers up to $1,500 in travel funding for UWA Fogarty Scholars to support exchange programs or summer opportunities.

Workshops aimed at building self-esteem and leadership skills for children and young adults.

This fund provides grants to small to medium Australian food and grocery businesses to support innovative and sustainable projects that drive efficiency, growth, and reduce reliance on imports.

A youth recognition award for academic achievement in Legal Studies, providing a grant to the highest achiever in Legal Studies Units 1 & 2 from secondary schools in Hume.
