Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts Development Fund
Requirements Summary
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, groups, and organisations based in Queensland can apply for one-off grants to support new creative performing arts work (up to $70,000) or visual arts market development activities (up to $30,000) for projects up to one year. Applicants must be Australian citizens/permanent residents (if individual), have an active ABN and bank account, not owe Arts Queensland money, not have received funding in the previous round, and submit applications by 2pm on 22 June 2026. Additional funding up to $10,000 is available for disability access costs.
Eligibility Criteria
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons, groups or organisations ONLY
Organisations must be at least 50% owned and led by First Nations peoples
Active ABN in same name as application
Bank account in same name as application
Must NOT have received funding in previous round of this fund
Must NOT receive more than $1M/year in Arts Qld grants
Completed any overdue Arts Qld reporting

Skills and experience of artists involved
Partner and collaborator support
Employment and career development for First Nations artists
Market and reputation building potential
