Description

Attract and recruit Aboriginal people in the disability workforce. The objective of this project is to identify the factors that influence the attraction and recruitment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the disability services workforce in government, non-government, and the for-profit sectors in QLD, NSW, Victoria, and WA. The proposed project aims to: 1. Identify ways to attract and recruit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people into the disability services workforce from the experience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have worked in this sector. 2. Provide practical policy advice and resources on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander disability workforce for disability service providers using Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Knowledge Translation models..
