Description

Critical metals thermodynamics for circular clean energy economy. This project aims to develop a powerful predictive thermodynamic computational tool to assist critical metals extraction and recycling in complex metallurgical processes. It combines innovative experimental techniques, thermodynamic models, and computer analysis of large datasets. The expected outcomes tool will function as a "GPS" for complex critical metals processing directly utilised by Australian and other Partner Organisations. The project benefits include enhanced efficiencies and economic competitiveness in critical metals recovery from diverse materials including mining and electronic waste, bolstering Australian industry and government priorities in resources, sustainable critical metals supply, addressing environmental challenges.
