Operation Uganda Foundation
Tips for Applicants
This is NOT a grant-making foundation—it is an operational charity that runs its own programs in Uganda. It does not accept grant applications from external organizations. Those seeking funding should not approach Operation Uganda as a funder; instead, this organization would be a potential partner or beneficiary for larger Australian foundations looking to fund Uganda-based work.
Giving Philosophy
100% of donations go directly to programs (they state this explicitly). The foundation believes in breaking the cycle of poverty through holistic community development—focusing on education, skills training, healthcare, and spiritual support. They emphasise 'transforming a nation one child at a time, one household at a time, one community at a time.' Their approach is faith-driven, working through local churches and community partners.
