Final Year Education Student Scholarships
This scholarship provides financial and practical assistance to final year students enrolled in teacher training programs at James Cook University Cairns Campus or Central Queensland University Cairns Campus, offering between $1,000 and $1,200 to help with the transition to employment and providing networking opportunities.
Year 12 Education Scholarships
This scholarship covers full HECS fees for up to four years for graduating Year 12 students from Catholic colleges within the Diocese of Cairns who are pursuing a full-time, four-year Bachelor of Education degree, and guarantees a teaching position for two years within the Diocese upon completion. First Nations students are strongly encouraged to apply.
Career Change Scholarships
This scholarship supports professionals with an undergraduate degree who are seeking a career change into teaching by pursuing a full-time Master of Teaching and Learning degree, offering $10,000 per year for two years and a guaranteed permanent teaching position within a Catholic School in the Diocese of Cairns upon completion.
