Individuals concerned about themselves or others can find support through the EDV Hub via phone (1300 550 236) or online. EDV offers a range of free services including Telehealth Counselling, Telehealth Nurse guidance, Peer Mentoring, Support Groups, and Carer Coaching. Professionals (health workers, teachers, coaches) can access resources and training on prevention, early intervention, and creating 'Body Peace Workplaces'. EDV encourages involvement through volunteering, fundraising, and sharing lived experience.
Giving Philosophy
EDV's vision is a future where individuals and communities thrive through empowered and safe relationships with food, eating, body, and movement. Their purpose is to empower individuals, families, health professionals, and governments with information and lived expertise to understand eating disorders and reduce their impact. Their services are peer-led, empathetic, and cover the entire eating disorder journey, from early intervention to recovery and relapse prevention.
