The Trustee For Friends Of The Mater Foundation
About
The Trustee For Friends Of The Mater Foundation is the fundraising arm for Mater, a leading not-for-profit health service based in South East Queensland, Australia. The Foundation raises funds from the community to support Mater's mission in healthcare, medical research, education, and compassionate patient care, particularly for vulnerable populations.
Tips for Applicants
This foundation primarily funds internal Mater Group initiatives and programs, rather than accepting unsolicited grant applications from external organisations. Individuals or organisations seeking support are encouraged to align with or become part of Mater's services, research, or educational programs in South East Queensland.
Giving Philosophy
The Foundation approaches giving by channeling donor contributions directly into specific Mater initiatives. Their philosophy is to advance Mater's capabilities through direct funding of innovative medical research, cutting-edge education for healthcare professionals, and enhanced patient care programs, ensuring that funds deliver tangible impacts within the Mater health system.
