Gondwana Rainforest Trust Ltd
Tips for Applicants
Approach with clearly demonstrated conservation outcomes, evidence of biodiversity impact, and partnership arrangements with Traditional Owners. Emphasise measurable results like hectares protected or restored, species conserved, and community engagement. Projects in the Daintree region or Northern NSW/QLD rainforests aligned with their existing programs are most likely to succeed.
Giving Philosophy
The Trust prioritises projects that conserve biodiversity, maintain intact landscapes, reverse environmental declines, and strengthen communities. They value collaboration with Indigenous Traditional Owners, long-term conservation outcomes, and nature-based solutions that provide dual benefits for people and nature. Funding supports both direct land acquisition and on-ground restoration work.
