Tips for Applicants

Applicants should be Aboriginal-led entities or organisations working directly with Traditional Owners on sandalwood lands in Western Australia. Align proposals with the foundation's three strategic pillars (country regeneration, culture and knowledge transfer, or community capability) and demonstrate how your work supports healthy sandalwood country and strong Aboriginal communities.

Giving Philosophy

The foundation prioritises Aboriginal-led and Aboriginal-controlled entities, ensuring 100% of donations support programs within sandalwood communities. It values long-term funding partnerships, Traditional Owner knowledge and custodianship, and integrated approaches that advance healthy country, strong communities, and cultural continuity across three pillars: sandalwood regeneration, Aboriginal-led capability development, and community empowerment.
