They are committed to helping people with convictions and their families maintain positive connections throughout incarceration, enabling individuals to return to their communities as valued, productive, and fulfilled members with a diminished risk of reoffending. The foundation originated from the work of the Christian Family Centre, a local church that supported children and families of offenders near Risdon Prison, Hobart.
