Giving Philosophy

The foundation values cultural preservation, the elevation of traditional languages, and the promotion of pride in place through music and art. It seeks to support initiatives that foster deep connections, provide healing, and offer an essential window into the unique cultural heritage of First Nations and Melanesian-Polynesian artists.

Applicants should clearly demonstrate how their project aligns with the foundation's mission to preserve and celebrate First Nations music, art, and stories, particularly those that elevate traditional languages. Given its small annual giving, projects should be modest in scope or indicate other funding sources, and highlight cultural impact and community well-being.
